Three rules for post-it notes
-
Always use a Sharpie
Use a Sharpie for bold, legible notes that can be seen from a distance. It naturally limits over-writing and keeps your message simple. Chiseled Sharpies or dry erase markers also work well.
-
One Thought per Post-it
Write one idea per Post-It to keep your thoughts focused and concise. A Sharpie’s bold line will help with this. Being concise makes it easier to sort, group, and synthesize ideas during workshops.
-
Pull don't peel
Pull Post-Its straight to you instead of peeling from the side. This keeps them flat, increases surface contact, and ensures your bold, clear notes stick well and stay visible during activities.
